Happy Teachers Day

Every year teachers day reminds me of my childhood days, how we use to scream loudly in the class to wish our teachers Happy Teachers Day.  I am sure each one of us has a favourite teacher whom we cannot forget. Teachers affect eternity, no one can tell where there influence stops. What we are today is the reflection of our teachers preachings

In India, we celebrate this day on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a man of many good qualities and a favorite teacher among students. It was his request that his birthday should be celebrated as an honorable day for all the teachers in the country, in case someone is wishing to celebrate his birthday at all. So, in a nutshell, we celebrate Teacher’s Day because teachers are the one who take up the responsility of educating the next generation and building a vetter future.

On this teachers day let us remember the common dialogues of our favourite teachers which almost every student must have heard.

1)”Be quiet! Is this a fish market.”

2)“If you want to talk, please get out of the class and talk”.

3)“If you’re not interested, then you may leave the class.”

4)“Don’t enter my class if you haven’t done my homework.”

5)“Are you here only to waste your parents’ money?”

6)“Why do you come to school when you don’t want to study”?

7)“Previous class was 100 times better than you.”

A teacher is like a candle -it consumes itself to light others. Always respect them. It is not easy to handle a single kid but they tirelessly and patiently manage so many children.  Hats off to them . Make this day special and memorable for them.
